My friends in Christ,
There are so many wonderful things I could tell you about the International Conference that I, along with about 30 other folks from Region V, attended. It would take too many email newsletters to cover it all, and my description would pale in comparison to BEING THERE among 400 other spirit-filled believers. We all came in expectancy to see a move of God. And God never disappoints!
In addition to healings and miracles, heart-felt worship, amazing speakers and workshops, there is one particular message that was conveyed to us there that I want to convey to you: The Future of OSL is bright. Our board, under the guidance of board president Fr. Paul Feider and our International Director, Josh Acton, has laid a foundation for tremendous growth. We’ve been given some powerful tools to grow our communities. All we have to do is use them.
Fr. Feider presented A Strategy for Growing OSL Using Organizational Growth Principles (You can download this document from the resources page on our Region V website. I’ve also posted it in the files section of our Facebook Group). The board and the staff at the OSL office have been very hard at work re-branding and creating literature for us to use (as well as a new OSL feature-rich website is coming very soon, so stay tuned for that!), all of which is a part of our strategy for moving forward and ensuring that we fulfill our mission to bring healing to a broken world in the name of Jesus Christ.
The OSL Board has also added a new position specifically focused on the “next generation.” A young vibrant pastor from Tennessee, Brian Miller, has knowledge and tools that can help us ensure that we reach younger people and invite them into our communities so that the fire will continue.
If you have been trying to grow your chapter (Healing Community), and are feeling at a loss. . . this is your answer:
The most exciting—and timely—bit of information I want to share with you is about the One-Day “Bootcamp” Workshop that YOU and YOUR HEALING COMMUNITY can implement to introduce healing ministry to your church or greater community. It is a turnkey solution that you can tailor to your needs, designed to teach the Biblical foundations of healing ministry and how to IMPLEMENT those teachings. All you need is a few OSL members who understand their power and authority to heal in the name of Jesus to present one or more of the three sessions, along with others who can facilitate a prayer group for the practicum session.
Planning documents, music and teaching videos, along with handouts and Powerpoint presentations, are all provided (you can tailor these to your needs as well). You’ll need to decide how many people you want to attend, where you can hold the workshop, how to cater lunch, and how much to charge for the event (It’s important to charge a fee so that people are committed to coming).

Please take a look at these materials and pray about implementing this workshop SOON! We’d love to see several workshops take place around the region between now and the end of the year so that 2020 will be a year of great harvest. This is your opportunity to train the workers for that harvest! But you’re not alone. I’m here to help you in any way I can, as are the OSL Board members. I hope to put on at least one workshop in the DFW area with the help of OSL members here. And then we’ll be equipped to go into the areas of our 6-state region where there are NO chapters, and raise up some workers for the harvest. Isn’t this exciting?!
